Consolidated Water is a publicly owned water utility providing service to 2,700 connections
With great sadness, we want to let the community know that we are unable to bathe the water tower in the Chiefs RED for their run at the 3-peat. We have been experiencing technical difficulties with the lighting system. We are working with the contractor on a fix to the lighting system, but thus far we have not had any success. We will continue to work with the contractor and/or others to find a permanent fix as soon as possible.
In the meantime, here is a picture for all to enjoy as we cheer on our CHIEFS, to another Superbowl VICTORY!!!

Cold Weather Is on the Way!!!
To prevent frozen or busted pipes, do the following…
-Disconnect all outside hoses
-Open Cabinet Doors
-Let faucets drip 💧

The snow is actually a good thing when it comes to keeping water meters from freezing. The snow acts as an insulator and helps seal the water meter from the cold air. It is a good practice to not disturb the snow around your water meter.
Frozen meters are not common and if you do not have water, you most likely have a frozen pipe somewhere else in your system. If you suspect a frozen water meter, please give us a call at 913-724-7000, (Ext. 2 if after hours) and we will be glad to take care of that part.
