APPRENTICESHIP COMPLETE!!!
Congratulations to Garrett for completing his Apprenticeship, a 2-year program facilitated by the Kansas Rural Water Association.
Garrett received his nationally recognized Water System Operations Specialist certificate of completion last week in Wichita, KS at a conference attended by more than 2,500 industry professionals.
Garrett completed over 4,000 hours of on the job training, 283 hours of classroom work, numerous quizzes/tests as well as learning our systems and practices.
We are extremely proud of Garrett and can’t wait to see what the future holds for him!

!!! Water Main Break !!!
Our crews are on the scene of a water main break in the Rickel Subdivision, near 153rd & South Circle Dr.
Repairs are in progress at this time, water is being interupted to allow crews to make the repair, anticipated time to return water service to the area is 2 hours.

So we just got some GREAT news from the Kansas Department of Transportation: the State has committed $35 million to modernize K-5 in Leavenworth and Wyandotte counties! Preliminary engineering work to begin soon! We are in the pipeline!
